wow,i really love this shot ! Very lively,about the lives of others,you really capture all of them well and the atmosphere and the emotional pay-back is priceless,Carol ! keep it up =)
I like your street stuff. I need to get out and do more of this kind of shooting. The brick paved street, workmen with handcarts, and the car passing through is very much like the Pike Place Market here in Seattle-100 years old this year. I suspect this market is older than that.
Lots of life in this shot. Great prespective, emphasised by the pattern in the cobble stones. Like the 'sweeping' feeling you get at the front of the image, with the lady on the left walking in to the shot and the guy on the right heading out.

@Daroru: That's a real nice comment - cheers Daroru.
I've noticed this before, as streets and roads where I live are busy with cars and trucks..yours are busy with people . There is something refreshing about that differance in your photos.

@Fred: I'm gonna have to get you some serious traffic shots aren't I? There is a much smaller ratio of cars per person here than anywhere in Europe - but they have the same traffic accident figures. It's plain crazy on the roads. My workmates mother-in-law just got run over by a lorry and had her leg amputated - she's 71. His wife's workmate's husband got run over and killed the other day going out for lunch, and another friend got run over by a taxi - she's ok. But all that in the space of three weeks. Plain crazy
