Ok, i have to ask.... What's a Simit ?
Judging by the photo I can only guess they might be similar to a bagel, but I'd wager that there is more to them then meets the eye.

by the way, great photo..you always seem to capture a multitude of expressions in your shots.

@Fred: Cheers Fred. I love the expression on the dodgy geezer at the back.
Simit is a ring of twisted dough covered in sesame seeds and baked, a bit harder than bagel, and it's thinner so no fillings in the middle - eaten as is. So not very intersting but very popular.
